TEAM
Brian
Brian comes from the “oil patch”; offshore, marine, refining, and petrochemical sectors, but always harbored a desire to get into 3D design. BIM Solutions and Revit give him the opportunity to do just that. He is self-taught from board drafting to AutoCAD 2D/3D and now Revit, along with instrumentation and process controls calculations. He has a PhD in OJT (On the Job Training).
Experience in pulp & paper, pharmaceutical, and food services industries expanded his horizons and skill sets. He is eager to become proficient in Building Information Modeling and the commercial, institutional, and related design fields. Brian’s current contribution to our team includes ductwork modeling and spooling. He has expressed an interest in learning all systems in the future, and looks forward to his journey with BIM Solutions.
Brian is an avid cyclist, owning 2 road bikes and 2 recumbent bikes. He states, “I will ride whenever the sun shines,” but is known to get caught in pop-up rainstorms every now and again!
David
David graduated from Northshore Technical Community College with a Technical Diploma in Drafting and Design in 2021. While at Northshore he learned to use AutoCAD, Plant3D, and Inventor. David’s ability to learn quickly and focus on details makes him an integral part of our team. Currently, he uses Revit and Navisworks for HVAC ductwork coordination and spooling. Outside of work, David likes to spend time with family and friends, and play video games.
Jacob
Jacob graduated from Slidell High School in 2021. He is certified in AutoCad, Adobe Photoshop, and InDesign. He has certifications for CIW Network Technology, Site Development, Internet Business, and Web Foundations as well. Jacob’s role within our team involves assistance within the plumbing and piping divisions. Jacob’s meticulous attention to detail allows him to assist our detailers during the spooling process. He enjoys relaxing as much as possible, but helping out when people need him.
Jay
James (Jay) Roussel graduated in 2007 with a Technical Diploma in Drafting & Design from Louisiana Technical College. With over 13 years of experience in the Oil & Gas and Commercial Construction Industry, Jay has demonstrated a strong background in Piping and Mechanical Design. Ranging in projects from designing a Natural Gas Plant in Oklahoma to designing the New Terminal C at the Orlando International Airport, he has played a critical role in the design process for multiple clients. Jay contributes as a lead modeler specializing in mechanical piping and plumbing. When not working he enjoys spending time with his son and fiancée, playing golf, and watching sports. Born and raised in Louisiana, Jay’s favorite teams are the LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints.
Joel
Joel graduated in December 2009 from Southeastern Louisiana University with a BA in Management. In May 2022, he graduated from Northshore Technical Community College with a Certificate of Tech Studies. His work experience includes 22 years in management of an Electronics Manufacturing Company and 6 years at an Indoor Range. While at the range, he became certified instructor in all NRA courses along with being TECC certified in emergency first aid. Joel’s role within our team includes ductwork modeling and database management. He also works closely with Keatin to get our spool sheets out the door on-time (and correct)!
Joel has two children (25 and 21). He enjoys drawing in 3D parametric software, then using his 3D printers to physically make the designs available.

Keatin
Keatin enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard in 2011 and served 6 years of Active Duty. He is currently serving as an Electrician in the Reserves.
Additionally, after he got out of Active Duty, he enrolled into Northshore Technical Community College and graduated with a Technical Diploma in Drafting Design and Technology in 2019. He uses the most up to date in AutoCAD and Revit. Keatin’s attention to detail and organization skills brought our process piping drafting to the next level, and he has advanced within our team to our Spooling Dept. Lead. Outside of civilian and military life, Keatin’s favorite hobby is paintball. He has been playing since 2008, and is currently owner of Omega Elites. When he isn’t on the field, he assists by refereeing, and making sure the new people have an awesome time playing.
Nathan
Nathan, for the past seven years, has been a Drafter and Water Jet Tech by trade. He was in charge of repairing, dismantling, and getting the water jets back running. He found this job very interesting, and enjoyed making sure that all systems worked together to get the job done. He worked in Steel Fabrication for the Oil Field and Commercial Glass. Nathan graduated with Honors at Louisiana Technical College Sullivan campus to get his associates specialty in industrial pipe drafting. He also completed one year of welding. Nathan brings his strong knowledge of reading construction documents and extensive experience as an industrial pipe drafter to our team.

Mary Grace
Lou
Lou graduated from LSU receiving his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Lou specializes in HVAC ductwork. He serves as our special consultant for design-assist projects. During his free time, Lou likes working in his vegetable garden and citrus orchard. He is active in his local Knights of Columbus, and enjoys spending time with his wife and six grandchildren.
